How to Deploy a Network in Brazil

The usual blocker on a Brazilian network deployment is not engineering, it is the CNPJ. Most carriers will not contract with a company that has no Brazilian tax registration, which turns a technical project into a legal one before a single circuit is ordered.

JCM Carrier contracts on your behalf, so ordering and delivery can start before you incorporate — and the contract can transfer to your entity afterwards.

Brazil connectivity delivered by a neutral multicarrier operator. We map every route available at your address and come back with price, lead time and SLA.

The order things actually happen in

Deploying network infrastructure in Brazil as a foreign company is rarely blocked by technology. It is blocked by sequence: several of the steps have long lead times, they depend on each other, and starting them in the wrong order costs months.

The local entity question

Most Brazilian carriers will not sign a contract with a company that has no CNPJ — the tax registration number every Brazilian legal entity holds. Incorporating takes time, and until it is done the carrier conversation cannot even begin. This is the single most common reason a Brazilian deployment stalls before any equipment is ordered.

There is a way around it. A local partner can contract on your behalf, so the circuits are ordered, delivered and running while incorporation proceeds in parallel — and the contracts can be transferred to your entity afterwards. That is what no CNPJ required to start means in practice, and it is usually worth several months.

Where you land matters more than you expect

São Paulo concentrates the carrier density, the exchange capacity and the carrier-neutral data center market. It is the cheapest and fastest place in Brazil to put a point of presence, by a wide margin. Rio de Janeiro is second. Everywhere else, both the price and the lead time change substantially, and the number of carriers that can genuinely reach a given building drops fast.

A realistic sequence

We are a neutral multicarrier operator. Send us the address and we map every route that can actually deliver there, then come back with price, lead time and SLA — normally within two business hours. No CNPJ required to start.

Questions we get asked

What normally blocks a network deployment in Brazil?

Not engineering — the CNPJ. Most carriers will not contract with a company that has no Brazilian tax registration, which turns a technical project into a legal one before a single circuit is ordered.

Can ordering and delivery start before we incorporate?

Yes. JCM Carrier contracts on your behalf, so ordering and delivery can start before you incorporate, and the contract can transfer to your entity afterwards.

Does it matter where in Brazil we land first?

More than most foreign teams expect. Where you land changes what is available, what it costs and how long it takes, so it is a decision worth making deliberately rather than by default.

What is a realistic sequence for a deployment?

The order things actually happen in is rarely the order they are planned in. Starting the circuit order before the entity exists is what keeps the legal track and the technical track running in parallel instead of end to end.

Questions foreign companies ask us

Can a foreign company get connectivity in Brazil without a CNPJ?

Yes. Most Brazilian carriers will not contract without a CNPJ. We contract locally on your behalf, so circuits are ordered and delivered while your incorporation runs in parallel, and the contracts can transfer to your Brazilian entity afterwards.

What do you need from us to quote?

The addresses — street and number, not just the city. We check feasibility at each one across the carriers that reach it, fibre and fixed wireless, group carriers and partners, and return comparable options within two business hours: price, lead time and SLA on the same basis.

What if the site has no fibre?

We deliver anyway. Fibre where it reaches; fixed wireless, 5G or satellite where it does not. The technology follows what actually reaches that address, so a warehouse, a farm or a construction site is quoted the same way as an office tower.

Do we sign one contract or several?

Your choice. One contract covering every site, or several, with a single escalation path either way — instead of three suppliers explaining that the fault is in somebody else's segment.

What is actually written into the SLA?

Availability with a maximum time to repair, not an availability percentage alone. Latency, packet loss and jitter where the application needs them. Whether the second path is physically diverse, verified on the route. 24/7 NOC with proactive monitoring, and who attends the site.

Need connectivity in Brazil?

Send us the address. We check which carriers can actually deliver there and reply with price, lead time and SLA. Reply within 2 business hours.
